  • Coordination with assessment specialists and contractors completing repairs
How we coordinate the work

Planning drug-property remediation

  • Start with the available evidence

Share any property assessment or contamination report and identify who commissioned it. Tell us which parts of the building it covers and whether further specialist advice is being arranged.

  • Set the removal and retention boundaries

Identify affected finishes, fixtures or rooms, retained areas and any occupancy constraints. The report and project assessment should guide the agreed work rather than assumptions based on photographs.

  • Plan the return to use

Clarify who provides completion assessment, what evidence is required and who carries out reinstatement. Remediation, clearance decisions and property repair responsibilities need to be explicitly allocated.

Common questions

All demolition FAQs
Can you coordinate specialists as well as doing the remediation?

Yes. We undertake remediation and coordinate specialists where needed. Your quote should identify each party’s role, associated costs and the documentation required at completion.

Is this the same as biohazard cleanup?

Drug contamination and biohazards can require different work. We consider both, including crime scene clean-up, depending on the substance and site conditions. Tell us what is known about the contamination so we can assess the job and confirm the scope, suitable people, equipment and any specialist requirements before accepting the work.

How is the property assessed before it returns to use?

The relevant specialists determine the assessment and completion requirements for the property. We identify those responsibilities in the quote; photographs alone cannot establish contamination levels or clearance.
