House demolition on the Central Coast

We carry out house demolition across the Central Coast, from a small granny flat to a whole-house removal before a rebuild. We organise the approvals and specialists, remove the agreed structures and hand over the site to your written scope.

How we coordinate the work
Excavator beside the remaining house frame and rubble during demolition in Dudley

Dudley · Near Newcastle

A 30-tonne excavator. A house coming down.

Our 30-tonne excavator made short work of this house in Dudley. Seven site photographs follow the house frame through demolition, with rubble and parts of the building still on site.

Planning house demolition

  • Buildings and boundaries

Identify the house, additions, sheds, garages, slabs or paved areas involved. Mark the fences, trees and adjoining buildings that must stay, and tell us whether any part of the property will remain occupied.

  • Access and existing information

Share driveway widths, access restrictions, existing services and any asbestos reports. Photos or a marked site plan help explain the property; you can enquire before your plans are final.

    Planning for asbestos removal
  • Timing and handover

We organise approval paperwork, certifiers, arborist reports and licensed trades on your behalf, including Level 2 electricians and plumbers where needed. The quote sets out associated costs, removals and the cleared-site condition at handover.

Asbestos before the house comes down

Include the house, additions and separate outbuildings when discussing asbestos assessment. An existing report is useful, but its inspected areas and exclusions need to match the demolition you are planning. We can coordinate asbestos removal within the wider house-removal brief.

  1. Match the report to the buildings

Identify confirmed findings, suspected materials and structures or concealed areas that have not been assessed.

  2. Agree the order of work

Set out assessment, asbestos removal and required clearance before the affected demolition stage.

  3. Compare the complete scope

Confirm the removal licence-holder, disposal, documentation and any separate garage, frame or slab work.

Common questions

All demolition FAQs
How much does house demolition cost on the Central Coast?

We price the property and the work required. Building size and materials, asbestos, access, slabs, outbuildings, disposal and the agreed handover condition all affect the quote. Send the address and available photos or plans so we can discuss what needs assessing and provide a written scope.

How do I compare demolition companies?

Compare what each written quote includes: buildings and slabs, approval and specialist costs, service disconnections, asbestos work, disposal and the condition of the site at handover. Ask who is responsible for the work, confirm the relevant licences and insurance, and check exclusions before comparing the totals.

Can I discuss a knock-down rebuild before my plans are final?

Yes. Start with the address, what you intend to remove and your approximate timing. Tell us which plans or approvals are still being worked through so the enquiry reflects the stage you’re at.

Does the quote include sheds, driveways and concrete slabs?

We can include sheds, pools, driveways and slabs alongside the house removal. Identify what should go and what should stay so the written quote covers the complete job.

What information about access is useful?

Photos of the driveway, entrance and space around the building help start the conversation. Mention narrow access, overhead lines, neighbouring buildings, shared driveways and any restrictions you already know about.

What if the home may contain asbestos?

Mention any known or suspected asbestos at the start and share existing inspection reports. It needs to be considered when the scope is assessed, rather than treated as an unexpected extra after the work is agreed.
