An interior ready for the next trade

From a single room to a shop or commercial interior, we remove the partitions, fixtures and finishes listed in your quote. We agree what stays and how the space will be handed over to your next contractor.

What we can include

  • Agreed partitions, ceilings, fixtures and floor finishes
  • Room and shop strip-outs coordinated with your renovation or fit-out
  • Removal of demolition material and a defined handover to the next contractor
How we coordinate the work

Planning shop & internal strip-outs

  • Start with the removal schedule

Identify fixtures, fittings and finishes to remove, reuse or leave untouched. Share lease make-good requirements, drawings and the fit-out contractor’s scope where available.

  • Agree access and working arrangements

Tell us about loading docks, lifts, shared corridors, neighbouring tenancies and permitted working hours. Identify the building manager and any site induction requirements.

  • Separate live services and hazardous materials

Flag existing asbestos or contamination reports. Electrical, plumbing and other service isolation responsibilities need to be agreed before removal starts.

Material assessment before finishes are stripped

A tenancy or room strip-out can reach older materials behind the visible finish. Send the removal schedule, available asbestos register and any material reports together. Photos can describe a room, but cannot establish whether a lining or flooring product contains asbestos.

  1. Describe the layers being removed

Identify floor finishes, wall linings and ceilings, along with the surfaces and adjoining rooms that stay.

  2. Resolve unknown materials

Keep suspected materials undisturbed while appropriate assessment is arranged for the planned work.

  3. Agree access for the fit-out

Separate service isolation from any asbestos removal and required clearance before the next contractor enters.

Common questions

All demolition FAQs
Do you handle lease make-good work?

We can carry out the demolition and strip-out elements of a make-good requirement. Send the lease schedule or landlord’s specification so we can identify our work and any separate painting, fit-out or reinstatement.

Can you help with biohazard clean-up and the strip-out?

We consider biohazard clean-up, including crime scenes, as well as subsequent room demolition or flooring work. Acceptance depends on the substance, site conditions and tasks. We assess the job and agree the clean-up requirements, specialist input and sequence before work starts.

Can a shop next door keep trading?

Tell us about adjoining businesses and shared access. The work sequence and site arrangements must account for continuing operations; they need to be assessed for the particular premises.
